Welcome to the home page of the Broadlands Piranhas Swim Team.

We welcome all our swimmers for a great 2008 season. With over 365 swimmers registered for our team--the Piranhas will rock the pool this year! Please mark your calendars for our Team Outfitting and MANDATORY Team Parents Meetings on Sunday, May 4th at Mill Run Elementary.

Swimsuit and Apparel Outfitting:

Both the CSL and ODSL teams have a new team suit this year, so the team outfitting will be broken into 2 sessions. Piranhas families with last names A-M are encouraged to come from 1:30 to 3:00 and families with last names N-Z from 3:00-4:30. At the outfitting, there will be girls and boys suits in all sizes to try on for fit, as well as samples of Broadlands Piranhas apparel for ordering. Please be sure to double check your team choice as you place swimsuit orders, as this year CSL and ODSL have different team suits.

Later in the day, both teams will have an Annual Mandatory Parents Meeting. CSL's will be from 4:30 to 5:30 in the Mill Run Elementary Cafeteria and ODSL will meet from 6:00-7:00. Both teams have new and important information for the season, so attendance for a parent from each family is mandatory. Volunteer assignments, practice schedules, and other vital information will be presented by the Coaches and Board Members, so please save the date.

2008 Registration Now Closed:

Our 2008 team rosters are now full for both our CSL and ODSL teams.  We hope that we were able to accomodate all interested families this year.  Please check back on this site to keep up with all of the exciting news for both teams.

INFORMATION:

We are a community summer swim program offering great coaching, fun social events, many opportunities for parent involvement, and a full season of dual and league-wide swim meets. Our team is devoted to providing a positive and memorable experience for the swimmers. In addition to teaching proper swimming skills, we aim to develop good sportsmanship, team spirit, and healthy minds/bodies.

With over 250 swimmers, the Piranhas have two swim teams; one competes in the ODSL League and the other competes in the CSL League.
